Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.
We are looking for a data‑driven ASO Manager to join our SEO team. Your primary objective is to establish ASO as a growth initiative and amplify our organic app acquisition. You will be the architect of our global ASO strategy, moving beyond simple keyword updates to build a sophisticated engine of experimentation, custom store journeys, and high‑impact content.
Job Responsibilities
- Build and execute a comprehensive ASO roadmap specifically tailored to Wise’s product offerings.
- Conduct deep‑diving research to identify high‑intent search terms that drive not just 'browsing,' but high‑value app adoption.
- Audit core listings and establish a continuous pipeline of A/B experiments (visuals, copy, and metadata) to improve the journey from impression to download.
- Design and implement a content calendar for in‑app events (iOS) and promotional content (Android) to drive re‑engagement and visibility.
- Build and deploy a strategy for custom product pages and custom store listings to align our store presence with specific marketing campaigns and user segments.
- Partner with analysts to build a robust measurement framework, ensuring every experiment is tracked and every win is quantified.
Requirements
- Proven track record of managing ASO for high‑growth apps, ideally in FinTech.
- Deep understanding of conversion loops and the impact of ASO on the growth funnel.
- Experience using custom product pages to improve download rate.
- Deep familiarity with App Store Connect and Google Play Console, including native testing tools.
- Ability to bridge the gap between what the algorithm wants and what the user needs to see.
- Experience writing high‑quality briefs for designers that balance visual appeal with conversion potential.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast‑paced environment and managing stakeholders across marketing and product.
What Makes This Role Different
This is not a generic ASO role. You are not joining a mature channel. You are expected to help create it.
You Will
- Have access to mobile engineers, designers and analysts directly in the team, ensuring your plan is implemented and results are visible.
- Build our ASO strategy from scratch.
- Have an opportunity for significant growth by building out a new function from the ground up.
We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable, and inclusive. We celebrate our differences and strive to create an environment where every member feels respected, empowered to contribute, and able to progress in their careers.
