Position

Working as the Sustainability Apprentice at our offices in Leeds City Centre (hybrid role), you will work towards a Level 4 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner Apprenticeship over 15-20 months. As our Sustainability Apprentice, you’ll have access to a wide range of benefits including:

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work with the Sustainability team and other departments to promote the company’s Journey to Net Zero strategy and other initiatives
• Coordinate the company’s network of colleague Sustainability Champions
• Monitor industry and market trends on sustainability
• Support the team with continued certification to ISO 14001
• Help collate and analyse environmental data for annual reporting
• Engage with our charity partners to achieve company fundraising goals

What You’ll Already Have

• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at grade A-C (9-4)
• Genuine interest in sustainability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject
• Must have been a resident in the UK for three years
