What You’ll Be Doing
- Monitor and track cloud spend across various platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Assist in forecasting cloud costs and provide regular variance analysis.
- Identify opportunities for cloud cost optimisation, including rightsizing, reserved instances, and volume discounts.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on cloud expenditure, trends, and savings opportunities.
- Work closely with cloud architects, IT, and engineering teams to implement cost-effective solutions.
- Suggest process improvements for cloud cost management as the company grows and scales its cloud usage.
What You’ll Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud financial management tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud billing models and services such as compute, storage, networking, and database services.
- Proficient in Excel or other financial modelling tools.
