We are looking for a Lead Game Developer to join our brilliant Game Studio team at Tombola. The role is based in Sunderland with a hybrid working model—three days in the office and two days remote. You will lead a small squad of developers while working closely with designers, product and other stakeholders to deliver high‑quality games. Stakeholder management and clear communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a squad of developers, providing coaching and 1‑to‑1 feedback.
  • Manage squad operations, including holidays and absences.
  • Work with designers and product teams to prioritise and deliver features and projects.
  • Remain hands‑on with development and drive technical direction.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional communication and help move projects forward.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and advocate change.
