Barclays is looking for an AI Security Delivery Lead to join the core AI security delivery team, acting as the primary front door for AI security across the organisation. This team provides hands‑on support for critical AI security services that are still emerging, including AI security consultancy, guardrails, and approval patterns. You will enable product and engineering teams to build, deploy, and operate AI safely by offering a single, trusted point of access for expert advice, reusable security patterns, and governance decisions. These roles address the current gap in operational AI security capability, eliminating reliance on fragmented, ad‑hoc expertise and ensuring AI risks are managed consistently and effectively across the business.
Qualifications
- Technical acumen in AI security: strong understanding of core cybersecurity domains including identity, data protection, application, and cloud security, and how they apply to AI/ML systems, including AI‑specific threats such as prompt injection, model poisoning, and model theft.
- Strategic and analytical thinking: ability to translate enterprise security objectives into practical, risk‑based delivery guidance; assess complex AI solutions, prioritise risks by business impact, and balance innovation with security and compliance.
- Leadership and influence: proven capability to lead specialist teams and influence senior stakeholders across a matrix organisation, clearly articulating AI security risk in business terms and gaining buy‑in at CTO/CIO and executive forum level.

- Execution of training content and sessions to educate employees, enhance cybersecurity awareness and provide guidance on safe online practices.
- Management of complex cybersecurity incidents by collaborating with IT teams and response experts to effectively resolve cases through analysis, expertise support and project supervision.
