An excellent opportunity has arisen for a software developer to join an established, dynamic and exciting team of development engineers working on bespoke manufacturing equipment from new state of the art premises in Hoyland, 0.3 miles from M1 Junc 36.
Working mainly with .Net in a Windows environment, the role will form part of a small team developing and growing a product range.
Responsibilities- Writing, testing and evaluating code in .Net (or experience in C# and willing to adapt to working in .Net)
- OpenCV / Emgu CV
- Experience in editing / debugging existing code
- On-site system testing and customer training
- Basic level: Python - editing existing code
- Experience with HTML5 or HTML frameworks such as Bootstrap
- SQL databases
- Experience with MQTT communications
- Experience with AI model building / training
- Software unit testing
- Experience in a Linux environment
- Jira work management
- Git
Applicants will work closely with the Software Engineering Manager, working in conjunction with them and the development team. A passion for software, developing solutions and working on actual innovative products will be essential.
