We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Global Commercialisation Manager, Merchant Services.
HSBC Global Payment Solutions (GPS) is a leader in the provision of Cash Management services to the Commercial, Corporate, and Institutional clients globally.
This is a fast-moving market, with increased innovation.
You’ll be a part of the Global Merchant Services Team under GPS, primarily responsible for managing product life-cycle from product development, product maintenance to product commercialisation.
The focus is to manage Digital Merchant Services (DMS) new features roll-out and work with sales and relationship teams to successfully commercialise products.

- In This Role You’ll
- Lead product design and product enhancement related to merchant services, collaborating with GPS partners across IT, Operations, risk stewards & other stakeholders to delivery product enhancement with adherence on time to market deadlines.
- Drive commercialisation of merchant services including but not limited to update internal and external collaterals, organise internal and external marketing events, lead sales enablement initiatives, manage deal pipeline, oversee client implementation status
- Work with sales, relationship teams to gather market feedback and competition analysis to offer product differentiators for selling solutions to clients with responsibility for client deal pricing
- Explore partnerships with external payment providers, platforms, schemes as well as internal teams like Retail Banking, Markets to create end-to-end solutions for clients
- Collaborate with GPS Sales & Coverage teams to obtain risk dispensation approval for exceptional cases and deliver desired business outcomes.
- Closely monitor revenue and cost from scheme and vendor, and track NFI actual vs target. Support product governance and risk management activities.
