Join us in Barclays as a Transaction Monitoring (TM) Training Analyst.

In this role, you will join the Training & Capability team, where you will play a key role in educating and upskilling operational colleagues through structured training, coaching, and knowledge transfer initiatives.

You will support the development of a strong learning culture, ensuring colleagues have the skills and knowledge required to perform effectively in a controlled, high performance environment.

You will be responsible for designing and delivering training programmes, workshops, and learning interventions, working closely with stakeholders across the business to identify knowledge gaps and implement targeted development solutions.

The role also involves monitoring the effectiveness of training initiatives, recommending improvements, and ensuring all materials align with organisational standards, governance, and branding.

  • To be successful as a Transaction Monitoring (TM) Training Analyst, you should have:
  • Transaction Monitoring experience with a solid understanding of TM processes, risk indicators, controls and the operational environment within a regulated financial services setting.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with experience delivering training, coaching and knowledge sharing initiatives to support colleague development.
  • Proven stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities, engaging operational teams effectively while managing expectations and driving learning outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently in a controlled, high-performance environment, prioritising workloads, maintaining quality standards and applying risk and control awareness to identify and escape issues where appropriate.

Purpose of the role To assess the quality of business processes and the execution of processes and develop initiatives to improve quality standards.

  • Accountabilities
  • Identification of areas for improvement within operations and provide recommendations for change through the quality assurance process.
  • Development and implementation of quality control procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain efficient operations.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to develop quality improvement guidelines, initiatives, objectives, and action plans to monitor performance, improve business areas and govern processes.
  • Development of reports and presentations on quality control performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Monitoring of customer-facing colleagues’ performance, and evaluating their performance through reviews, quality reporting, policy development and feedback on customer interactions.
  • Execution of quality audits of the bank’s processes and operations, aligned to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in quality assurance services.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve quality control efficiency and effectiveness.
