As a Cloud Platform Engineer in our Cloud Platform Team, you will design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes operators using Go to automate and manage cloud resources. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues, create secure production code, and contribute to architecture and design for complex applications. Your work will support our expanding hybrid multi-cloud environment, and you'll help foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect. Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes operators using Go, focusing on automating and managing public cloud resources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes operator functionality and cloud resource management.
- Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build solutions and break down technical problems.
- Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met.
- Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to drive continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with applied experience.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages, preferably including Go (Golang), Python, or Java.
- Practical experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and private cloud.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming and database querying languages.
- Overall knowledge of the software development life cycle.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, AI, machine learning, mobile).
