Join us as a Regulatory Lead where you will be responsible for leading on initiatives to ensure Barclays meets its regulatory requirements, in particular in relation to operational continuity in resolution, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and to the required standard to meet regulator expectations.

To be successful as a Regulatory Lead, you should be:

  • Proactive, with a delivery mindset, taking personal responsibility for targets and willing to learn.
  • Experienced in delivering change and working to strict internal and external deadlines.
  • Experienced working with abstract or conceptual topics with an ability to convert them into tangible, trackable deliverables.
  • Able to identify and manage risks that arise throughout the project lifecycle, developing mitigation strategies to minimise potential disruptions or delays.
  • Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with colleagues at all levels, including drafting and presenting materials for senior management e.g. briefings decks, progress reports, project plans.

  • Knowledge of UK and international Banking Reform legislation and regulations.

  • Financial Management: Focuses on managing the budget of their specific project, ensuring it is completed within the financial constraints.
  • Metrics: Measures success based on the timely completion of project deliverables within scope, time, and budget.
  • Change Management: Manages changes that directly impact their specific project, including scope changes, timelines, or resource allocation adjustments.
