Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a proactive and delivery focused Provisioning Manager to oversee the end‑to‑end ordering and activation of connectivity and network services, including broadband, FTTP, Ethernet, DIA, and related access technologies. This role is central to ensuring seamless, accurate, and timely provisioning activity across the business, supporting the transformation agenda led by the Head of Delivery Operations. Working as a critical operational specialist within the Delivery Operations function, the Provisioning Manager ensures that all connectivity orders are placed correctly, progressed efficiently, escalated appropriately, and completed to the highest standard. This role plays a key part in safeguarding customer experience, operational efficiency, and revenue assurance by ensuring accuracy in ordering, supplier engagement, jeopardy management, and internal communication.

The ideal candidate will bring strong telecoms provisioning expertise, a continuous‑improvement mindset, and the ability to streamline processes through better workflow design, automation, and data‑driven decision‑making. You will work closely with the Head of Delivery Operations to evolve how the provisioning function supports transformation across the Centres of Excellence.

What will you be doing day‑to‑day?

  • Service Provisioning & Order Management: Own the end to end ordering and delivery of connectivity services (FTTP, DSL, DIA, Ethernet, broadband, etc.). Ensure all orders are placed accurately with suppliers and tracked through to completion. Maintain a unified, real time view of all in flight provisioning activity and dependencies. Ensure service activations, changes, and cancellations are executed to the highest standard and in line with internal governance. Work closely with billing, finance, and delivery teams to ensure order accuracy aligns to revenue assurance principles.
  • Supplier & Partner Engagement: Act as the primary operational interface with network carriers and third party suppliers. Own supplier escalations for delayed or at risk orders, ensuring SLAs and delivery commitments are met. Monitor supplier performance, raising issues early and contributing to supplier review cycles led by the Head of Delivery Operations. Build strong working relationships to drive predictable delivery lead times and improved service outcomes.
  • Jeopardy Management & Escalation Support: Proactively identify orders at risk and initiate corrective action before jeopardy arises. Work hand in hand with the Jeopardy & Escalations teams to provide clarity on supplier issues and customer impact. Implement early warning practices to minimise delays, customer dissatisfaction, and revenue loss. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in understanding network provisioning constraints, lead times, and carrier processes.
  • Operational Transformation & Continuous Improvement: Support the Head of Delivery Operations in delivering transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across provisioning workflows. Identify inefficiencies, manual tasks, and repetitive steps and recommend automation or process redesign. Contribute to the integration of systems, tooling, and AI driven capabilities that streamline the provisioning journey. Maintain high data quality and ensure provisioning processes evolve as new technologies and services are introduced.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Interface closely with Project Management, Sales, Engineering, Service Delivery, and Billing teams. Validate service orders for completeness and technical accuracy before supplier submission. Ensure smooth handover between sales, provisioning, projects, and service activation. Provide insight on delivery timescales, feasibility, and constraints to support pre sales and solution design.
  • Reporting, Governance & Revenue Assurance: Maintain accurate system updates, order notes, and tracking data to support governance and audit requirements. Provide operational reporting on order volumes, lead times, jeopardies, and supplier performance. Support finance teams by ensuring order accuracy aligns to billing triggers and prevents revenue leakage. Participate in root cause analysis for order related discrepancies, contributing to continuous improvement.

What You’ll Need

  • Ideally, proven experience in a provisioning, order management, or service activation role within telecoms or managed network services.
  • An understanding of connectivity technologies such as FTTP, broadband, Ethernet, DIA, SD‑WAN, UCaaS, etc.
  • Experience working with supplier portals, telecoms ordering processes, and SLAs.
  • Familiarity with automated workflows, integrations, and digital tools.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience supporting continuous‑improvement or transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
