We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the Lending Tribe and support the organization in identifying business requirements and solutions that address problems and opportunities.

Location

This role will be based in Glasgow.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Core Business Analysis Expertise: Qualified or highly experienced BA with strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to turn complex, unstructured information into clear business rules and high‑quality deliverables (e.g. user journeys, process maps, data models, specifications).
  • Proactive & Outcome‑Driven Mindset: Self‑starter who effectively plans and manages work, stays customer‑focused, prioritises clarity, accuracy, value delivery, and operational efficiency, and can work with minimum supervision to translate high‑level business requirements into detailed impact assessments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Skilled at managing stakeholders at all levels, facilitating sessions, communicating complex ideas, handling differing viewpoints, eliciting requirements, and presenting insights confidently.

Highly Valued Skills

  • Agile Delivery Capability: Experienced in Agile environments, with a track record of working in Scrum teams, collaborating with Product Owners, and contributing to iterative delivery and prioritisation of value‑driven solutions.
  • Credit Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of credit products, credit processes, customer communications, regulatory requirements, and how different parts of the credit lifecycle interact.
  • Data & Automation Expertise: Skilled in analysing data structures, flows, and complex business rules, with experience in automation tools or workflow systems and a solid grasp of process optimisation and continuous improvement principles.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organization.
  • Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
  • Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
  • Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Creation of operational design and process design to ensure proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
  • Support change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organization.
