At DXC Technology, our Cyber Defence team is growing, and were looking for a SOC Analyst Level 2 to join our Security Operations Centre team in Farnborough. As part of our SOC team, youll play a key role in monitoring and responding to security incidents, supporting junior analysts on shift, and helping us continuously improve the way we operate. Were looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, stays calm under pressure, and is passionate about cyber security and continuous learning.

Due to the nature of the work and the customers we support, the successful candidate must be eligible to meet UK Government and contractual personnel security requirements, including the applicable residency requirements for the role, and have the right to work in the United Kingdom. What Youll Be Doing
Monitoring and investigating alerts from SIEM tools within a 24/7/365 SOC environment.
Responding to and triaging security incidents, escalating where appropriate.
Acting as a senior point of contact on days, supporting junior analysts during investigations.
Contributing to the improvement of SOC playbooks, processes, documentation, and detection use cases.
Helping identify ways to improve workflows and strengthen SOC operations.
Reviewing KPIs and trends to support service improvement initiatives.
Staying up to date with the latest cyber threats, threat actors, and attack techniques relevant to our customers.
