What You’ll Do
As a Digital Marketing Associate for Display & Paid Social at Sainsbury's, you will be responsible for executing high‑impact, data‑led paid social and display campaigns that drive sales, enhance brand affinity, and propel our channels forward. You will lead the day‑to‑day delivery of campaigns from briefing to activation to reporting, collaborating closely with our media agency to ensure campaigns are optimised and measured effectively. Using platforms like Smartly, you will build, test, and optimise creative variations while exploring automation and AI features to enhance campaign performance. Additionally, you will track performance metrics, use data‑driven insights to make informed decisions, collaborate with various teams to develop high‑quality digital creative, manage campaign budgets efficiently, and support the Display & Social Media Lead in delivering a pipeline of media projects, all while maintaining a fast‑paced and results‑driven approach.

You are a results‑oriented and hands‑on professional with a deep passion for digital marketing. You have experience running paid social and display campaigns, coupled with an ability to analyse data and optimise performance, allowing you to drive high‑impact campaigns that elevate brand visibility, engage customers, and boost sales. Essential Criteria
- Proven experience delivering paid social and display campaigns end‑to‑end, from briefing through to activation and reporting.
- Experience in performance marketing, using data and insights to optimise campaigns and drive measurable results.
- Hands‑on experience with campaign management platforms (e.g. Smartly or similar), including building, testing and optimising creative.
- Demonstrable experience analysing performance metrics and translating data into clear, actionable improvements.
