hackajob is collaborating with Conveo.ai to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role. Turn Conveo's design from scattered to systematic, and build the system that scales the brand from $4M to $50M.

What We Are Building At Conveo: Conveo is the AI research platform enabling fast, affordable, and high-quality consumer / B2B research. Global brands like Unilever, Google, and Orange use our AI video interviewer to generate insights across marketing and product teams.

What problem are we solving, and why is this an important problem to solve: The current/traditional research methods companies rely on are slow, expensive, and superficial. Running great research also requires expertise, which is a blocker to many companies. That directly affects how well companies understand their customers and how well they can serve them.

The team you will join: You will join an extremely talented team of incredibly passionate, high-energy people. We go the extra mile while having the best time of our lives. Our team has the combination of decades of market research knowledge, incredible engineering ability, and experience building companies.

How We Operate: We truly care about our clients and the problem we solve. That means we humbly go the extra mile every time. We work hard, and we have fun. To keep our quality bar incredibly high, we want to execute with the smallest possible team.

The Role: You will own how design works at Conveo. You design the system, set the standards, decide what ships, and run the day-to-day. Rob, our Creative Director, leads visual direction, and we have a brand agency coming in to do a brand refresh soon. You take these inputs and turn them into a system the rest of the company can use.

We have a foundation of assets: decks, ads, social, website. We don’t have good templates or processes to scale those assets. Your job is to take what exists, keep what's worth keeping, and build what we need to take all our assets to the next level.

This is a role for someone who's built before. You've designed templates that the rest of the company actually adopted. You've used AI to ship at volume without dropping the bar. You've worked with opinionated founders and fast-paced teams. And you've kept the standard without losing the relationships. You have taste, and you have spine.

If you want to be the person who turns Conveo's brand into a real, scalable system, this is the role.

Your Mission:

  • Build the design system foundations
  • Establish the scalable design system across Figma, decks, and web (components, templates, tokens, guidelines)
  • Shape brand strategy alongside our Creative Director, founders, and agency, and then translate it into how design works day-to-day
  • Make it easy for the whole company to stay on-brand without Design becoming a bottleneck
  • Own recurring design output
  • Ship a wide variety of assets, including sales decks, investor decks, ad creative, website pages, social images, event collateral, and merch
  • Produce data visualizations, infographics, product mockups, and long-form content imagery (for whitepapers, guides, one-pagers, reports)
  • Continuously raise the quality bar on the assets we ship most often
  • Create templates, AI skills, and processes to allow team members to self-serve more and make Design scalable
  • Run design ops and triage
  • Be the first stop for all incoming design requests across the company
  • Scope, prioritize, and route work across resources, including internal designers, agencies, and freelancers
  • Manage feedback loops, deadlines, and stakeholder communication so projects ship cleanly

What We're Looking For:

  • 6+ years of design experience with strong B2B / SaaS exposure and a portfolio that proves both volume and craft
  • Demonstrable track record of building scalable design systems, templates, AI workflows, and reusable components that other teams actually adopted
  • Excellent presentation design skills across sales decks and investor decks
  • Experience working across a wide range of design assets
  • Brings structure and rigor to creative work. You ship on time, communicate proactively, and don't let chaos compound.
  • Strong collaborator who is a true partner to opinionated founders, fellow creatives, and demanding GTM partners.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to ship faster without dropping the quality bar.
  • Prior experience at a Series A/B startup scaling design from scratch.
  • Prior experience in a product led company bringing product interfaces to life in marketing materials.

What Success Looks Like:

  • After 6-12 months: Recurring assets ship on time, on brand, and at higher quality, with less rework
  • A scalable design system is in place across Figma, Claude, decks, and web, and the wider team is actively using it
  • Design ops runs smoothly: requests are triaged within 24 hours and Marketing, Sales, and Product trust the Design function to deliver
  • Design becomes a strategic advantage at Conveo because the engine works, not because of one-off heroics

Why join us: At Conveo, you'll join a team that genuinely enjoys working and spending time together. We care about building real relationships, not just great products. That's why we run quarterly team off-sites where we disconnect, reset, and have fun. Our next one is in Portugal this July.

Own a high-impact role at a hyper-growth, YC-backed AI company scaling from $4M to $50M. Direct access to founders and senior leadership. Work with world-class enterprise clients (Unilever, Google, P&G, Orange, and more). Competitive compensation, including meaningful equity (stock options) with real upside. Hybrid working model with offices in London, Antwerp, and New York. A culture built on taste, speed, ownership, and ambition.
