The Role
We are seeking an experienced Consulting Solution Architect to join the Architecture practice within Atos Amplify UK&I. The role combines client architecture advisory, solution design, and technical delivery accountability across complex digital transformation programmes. You will lead technical workstreams, shape solution architectures, manage senior client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the practice. You are an experienced problem-solver who thrives in complex, ambiguous environments, works confidently in regulated industries, and engages senior stakeholders with clarity, credibility, and authority, supported by a strong interest in architecture development and emerging digital technologies.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of technical solution design and delivery for client engagements.
- Design and delivery of client-facing digital solutions powered by AI, including Agentic, and secure-by-design approaches leveraging Sovereign components as required.
- Own and drive technical delivery across projects.
- Mentor junior team members as part of solution delivery.
Skills We Can’t Do Without
- Experience designing and delivering solutions on hyperscaler platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Ability to design solutions encompassing applications, cloud, and integration architectures (microservices, APIs, event-driven systems).
- Good understanding of AI concepts, architectures and integration patterns (Agentic, MLOps, data pipelines).
- Good understanding of security and compliance requirements as applied to solution design and delivery.
- Strong client-facing consulting skills, including workshop facilitation and hypothesis-led analysis.
- Experience delivering digital transformation projects across waterfall and agile methods.
- Experience resolving complex technical challenges balancing architectural purity with delivery constraints.
- Experience with TOGAF (or equivalent) and ArchiMate modelling.
- Public sector delivery experience or experience within a regulated industry.
Additional Requirements
- UK mobility required, with regular client-site engagement.
- Security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain higher clearance.
