Join us in London, where you will support the development and delivery of commercial strategy across UK Corporate Banking, Global Transaction Banking and International Corporate Banking. You will help produce insight and analysis that informs senior decision-making, supporting priorities across products, client segments and growth projects. You will work with stakeholders across Product, Payments, Coverage, Finance, Data and Technology to bring together inputs, challenge thinking and ensure outputs are grounded in clear analysis and practical implications.
You will translate complex data into clear, decision-ready materials and support projects across growth strategy, propositions, partnerships and investment priorities. Working in a collaborative environment, you will manage defined workstreams, deliver structured analysis and produce materials for senior audiences. Alongside this, you will maintain a focus on risk and control, ensuring work is accurate, well-evidenced and aligned to expectations.
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have:
- Experience in commercial strategy, consulting, product strategy, transformation or similar roles within financial services or a regulated environment
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience building fact bases and commercial assessments
- Ability to turn analysis into clear insights, options and recommendations for stakeholders
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for senior audiences
- Experience managing multiple workstreams and coordinating inputs across different teams

Purpose of the role: To provide independent and balanced advice and counsel to senior stakeholders through problem identification, solving and decision making practices.
Accountabilities:
- Provision of strategic advice to Group Executives to support the decision-making process of business challenges and opportunities.
- Development and implementation of strategic advisory incentives to grow and optimise the bank’s operations, through market research and analysis.
- Collaboration with various stakeholder groups to identify the appropriate strategic direction type to meet the needs of Barclays clients and investors.
- Development of financial models to support strategic recommendations and transactions through financial data analysis, financial projects and considering the financial impact of transactions.
- Management of transactions, negotiations, transaction structure development and post-transaction integration.
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders to maintain client relationships, and develop new relationships to identify opportunities.
