The SAP S/4HANA SAP Senior Manager (Source to Pay) will play a key role in expanding the SAP Supply Chain Practice for Procurement functions. You will be responsible for designing and implementing Source to Pay end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA solutions (public cloud and on‑prem/private cloud) that integrate critical business processes with other modules across Supply Chain and Finance. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, robust, and compliant SAP solutions, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to SAP best practices. The Source to Pay Senior Manager will drive the adoption of S/4HANA capabilities, minimize customisations, and ensure alignment with SAP best practices in Source to Pay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Source to Pay solution design for SAP S/4HANA implementations, focusing on the integration points and dependencies between Supply Chain (e.g., Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Maintenance) and Finance.
  • Conduct comprehensive fit‑to‑standard analysis and requirements gathering workshops with business stakeholders across Procurement to Pay to align SAP S/4HANA capabilities with business needs.
  • Define and maintain the SAP Source to Pay taxonomy, functional process mapping and solution design, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals, digital transformation initiatives, and SAP's roadmap (including RISE with SAP, BTP, and AI trends).
  • Design end‑to‑end processes for key business cycles for Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) Direct Procurement, ensuring seamless data flow and integration with other modules.
  • Provide expert guidance on leveraging SAP S/4HANA innovations to bring efficiency in Procurement to Pay business processes by leveraging intelligent technologies (e.g., SAP BTP, AI/ML tools, process mining).
  • Oversee functional design between SAP S/4HANA and non‑SAP systems, including third‑party applications.
  • Ensure solution integrity across the project lifecycle, from design to go‑live, and maintain consistency and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (functional, technical, data migration, integration, change management) to ensure cohesive solution delivery and business alignment.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership, communicating complex solution designs and their impact on business outcomes.
  • Lead the expansion of the Supply Chain Practice in Procurement functions, including pre‑sales, team building, and asset development.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Deep functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Direct Procurement across multiple sub‑modules.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing integrated end‑to‑end procurement processes, including supplier management, sourcing, contract management, strategic buying, supplier invoice management, accounts payable, material requirement planning, and service procurement.
  • Strong understanding of Source to Pay business processes and SAP S/4HANA capabilities, innovations, and best practices for both public and private cloud deployments.
  • Good understanding of key master data elements and their functional usage in driving Source to Pay processes in SAP S4HANA.
  • Expertise in SAP Activate Methodology and leading fit‑to‑standard workshops to drive adoption of standard SAP processes.

Experience

  • Extensive SAP ERP experience, with significant experience as a SAP Solution Delivery Lead / Subject Matter Expert in Procurement‑to‑Pay functional area on S/4HANA.
  • Experience of working in different roles such as Subject Matter Expert, Advisory, Functional Solutioning, Pre‑Sales, etc.
  • Completed at least 2–3 full‑lifecycle S/4HANA implementations (greenfield or brownfield) across various deployment models (on‑premise, private cloud, public cloud).
  • Proven track record in leading the design and delivery of complex business processes in Direct and Indirect procurement leveraging S/4HANA solution capabilities, balancing design quality, project practicality, and business outcomes.
  • Experience in leading customer workshops, defining functional business requirements, and creating detailed functional specifications and process design documents.
  • Ability to engage with CXO‑level stakeholders and translate technical details into business language and value‑driven solutions.
  • Experience in guiding, mentoring, and overseeing delivery teams (onshore and offshore) to ensure high‑quality solution delivery.
  • Well versed with SAP tools for process management, test management, release management, etc.

Desirable Attributes

  • Good understanding and implementation experience on indirect procurement leveraging SAP Ariba, COUPA solutions, and SAP Fieldglass.
  • Experience on central procurement and central analytics, integration with SAP Ariba and SAP Business Network.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and client relationship skills, with the ability to simplify complex functional and technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting abilities, with a keen attention to detail in solution design.
  • Self‑motivated, independent thinker, and driven to achieve success within a customer‑centric environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide mentorship to junior team members.
  • Comfortable delivering presentations and workshops to client senior stakeholders and technical teams.
