Job Overview: We’re seeking a passionate Pricing Project Manager to join AXA Retail on a 6‑month FTC to lead the delivery of impactful IT and Business Change initiatives within our pricing programme. You’ll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of projects, leading project teams and cultivating strong stakeholder relationships, overseeing budgets to ensure successful delivery that aligns with our strategic objectives and driving our transformation initiatives. You’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of critical workstreams, including rating engine initiatives within broader Transformation programmes.
  • Develop, maintain and monitor detailed project plans, resource forecasts and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Champion best practices in project management, utilising both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Foster strong stakeholder engagement across business, IT, actuarial, data teams and external vendors.
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, reporting progress, risks and issues effectively.
  • Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
  • Ensure quality standards are met throughout project lifecycle, including testing, documentation and handover.
  • Maintain comprehensive project artefacts like Business Cases, RAID logs and reporting packs.
  • Support a collaborative team culture, promoting high performance and development.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Experience delivering complex IT and application technology projects, ideally in multi‑organisational settings.
  • Accredited in Project Management (e.g., Prince2, PMP, Agile/Scrum, APMP).
  • Skilled in applying end‑to‑end project management disciplines across Agile and Waterfall environments.
  • Stakeholder management skills and effective communication abilities, with experience influencing senior management.
  • Sound understanding of IT solutions, infrastructure and delivery lifecycle.
  • Budget management expertise.
  • Experience working with third‑party vendors and establishing contracts.
  • Knowledge of insurance IT delivery, market trend awareness and staff development.
