The Portfolio Manager is responsible for leading the successful delivery of large-scale, complex programmes within the Legal Services organisation. This role will oversee multiple interconnected projects and workstreams, ensuring that business objectives are achieved through effective planning, governance, stakeholder management, and execution.
The role focuses on coordinating transformation initiatives that include change management, workflow optimisation, technology implementations, systems integrations, product release management, and organizational change activities. The Portfolio Manager will work closely with Legal Services, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Internal and External Business Stakeholders while providing leadership and support to Project Managers responsible for delivering individual projects.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic business outcomes.
Portfolio Leadership & Delivery Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programmes consisting of multiple related projects and workstreams.
Define programme scope, objectives, success criteria, and delivery roadmaps.
Establish programme governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and delivery frameworks.
Ensure alignment of programme activities with Legal Services and broader organisational strategic objectives.
Drive accountability across project teams to achieve programme milestones and benefits realization.
Workstream Coordination Manage and coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams, including: IQ Legal implementation projects
Business process and workflow transformation
System integrations
Product and platform enhancements
Organisational change and adoption activities
Identify and manage interdependencies across projects and business functions.
Proactively address programme-wide risks, issues, and constraints.
Product Release & Integration Management Coordinate product release schedules across multiple projects and delivery teams.
Work with Legal Services, Engineering, Product Management and operational stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and adoption of solutions.
