Minimum (essential) Requirements
- A proven ability of strong team skills, including working in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Self-sufficiency and competency in using:
- At least one configuration management or automation tool.
- At least one of the following languages: Powershell, Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, Groovy.
- Automating, building and supporting modern digital service platforms in production environments.
- Modern version control systems including git.
- Using public cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Debugging complex problems across multiple servers, services and tools.
- Having used the latest Continuous Delivery techniques and tools to build, test and deploy software.
DESIRABLE
- Third level - or equivalent - qualification in a related discipline.
- Obtained entry-level certification with a public cloud provider (AWS/Azure).
- Experience of cloud-native SaaS and PaaS technologies.
- Working knowledge of how to secure and monitor web services.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate issues to other technical people, and sometimes to non-technical people.
