As a Test Automation Engineer (SDET), you will play a vital role in our testing team, supporting the delivery of high-quality software solutions to our clients. Leveraging your expertise and experience, you will contribute to all phases of the software testing lifecycle, ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our applications. Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Developers and Product Owners to understand testing requirements and objectives.
- Develop BDDs, test cases and test scripts based on User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
- Execute test cases and document test results, identifying and prioritising defects for resolution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with project team members to ensure timely delivery of testing activities.
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members as needed.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Jest for functional and regression testing.
- Utilise Cucumber for behavior‑driven development (BDD) and ensure alignment between technical and business requirements.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure DevOps to integrate and execute automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct testing for Workday applications, ensuring data integrity, functionality, and performance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing as an Automation Test Engineer or SDET.
- Proficiency in either Java or JavaScript.
- Hands‑on experience with Selenium for test automation.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- ISTQB Foundation Level Certification.
- Experience using JIRA Software for test case management and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
