As a Project Manager – Technical at Kainos, you sit within the Partner Enablement team, acting as the glue that maintains and continually improves the quality and delivery of our Kainos Employee Document Management product. You will be accountable for the success of customer migration projects within the product, and responsible for maintaining, updating and assuring the quality of any internal or external platforms aligned to the onboarding or delivery of the product.

Responsibilities

  • Sitting within the Partner Enablement team as the glue that maintains and continually improves the quality and delivery of the product.
  • Being accountable for customer migration projects within the product — making sure they are scoped, planned, resourced and executed to a consistently high standard, with clear customer communications throughout.
  • Acting as the lead for the most strategic or complex customer migrations, or stepping in to support where additional capacity or expertise is needed.
  • Maintaining, updating and quality assuring any internal or external platforms aligned to the onboarding or delivery of the product — keeping content current, the user experience clean, and the underlying tooling well-supported.
  • Defining and running the quality assurance approach for onboarding and delivery — measuring outcomes, surfacing issues, and driving improvements.
  • Championing consistency in how we plan, deliver and report on work across the product team, and embedding best practice ways of working.
  • Tracking dependencies, risks, issues and decisions across multiple concurrent workstreams within the product team, and reporting clearly to senior leadership.
  • Working closely with Product Owners, Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, Partner teams and Information Security to align priorities and unblock delivery.
  • Supporting resource planning, capacity forecasting and timeline management across the product portfolio.
  • Driving continuous improvement in our delivery practices, applying Agile, Lean and traditional approaches as appropriate.
  • Coaching and mentoring others, and developing the delivery and quality assurance capability across the product team.
  • Supporting commercial conversations and pre‑sales activity where delivery confidence and credibility are needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a delivery or technical project role within a SaaS or technology product environment, with responsibility for the quality and delivery of the product, not just project administration.
  • Demonstrable experience owning or overseeing customer‑facing implementation, migration or upgrade projects in a software product.
  • Experience maintaining and quality assuring platforms or tooling that support onboarding, enablement or delivery (e.g. LMS, knowledge bases, partner portals, internal delivery platforms).
  • Proven track record of running multiple concurrent workstreams with clear visibility of scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality.
  • Excellent communication skills are vital. You’ll need to be a persuasive and effective communicator with strong negotiating skills and the ability to listen, understand and build on others’ viewpoints, and to communicate confidently with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • You will need an eye for detail, particularly to interpret supplied information and understand sources and challenge where necessary.
  • The ability to facilitate team meetings, planning sessions and group conversations.
  • Comfort and ability to engage with customers to understand their environment, priorities and constraints, and to support functional or technical project discussions.
  • Relevant commercial experience and awareness to help shape delivery commitments and protect commercial outcomes.
  • A good understanding of technology, cloud services, SaaS delivery and digital trends.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with the team and external stakeholders, including at senior level.
  • Being flexible to travel if required to customer and partner locations worldwide.

Desirable

  • Experience working in or alongside the Workday ecosystem.
  • Experience owning or supporting learning, onboarding or enablement platforms (e.g. LMS, knowledge bases, partner portals).
  • Experience delivering products or services in security, audit, risk or compliance domains.
  • Experience managing cloud‑native platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
  • Recognised project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, SAFe or PMI-ACP).
