The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

Reporting to the Global Reward Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, administration and ongoing management of Kainos’ compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Compensation and Benefits Frameworks – Developing and maintaining frameworks such as Salary Ranges, Promotional Increases, Early Careers and Benefits using external benchmark data.
  • Continuous improvement – drive improvements within all compensation and benefits related processes using technology to drive efficiency, transparency and governance control.
  • Reward education – support the delivery of a reward education programme to embed knowledge and understanding of global remuneration processes and philosophy.
  • Remuneration Projects/Change Management – support reward projects providing SME knowledge and implementing changes across the business, working closely with People Team colleagues, other SMEs and business stakeholders.
  • Cyclical processes – provide analytical support for the Annual Salary Review process (including modelling and cost analysis) and provide expert advice and guidance throughout.
  • Benefits – support the implementation and ongoing administration of global benefits.
  • Management information – provide and maintain accurate and timely MI that can be used to inform discussions across the business and anticipate future trends in line with best practice and industry standards; responsible for the delivery of external remuneration reporting such as Benchmark Surveys, Gender Pay Gap and EU Pay Transparency.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships – develop relationships with stakeholders across the business to become a trusted advisor on compensation and benefits matters; liaise with external suppliers and utilise other external networks to remain up to date on changes in legislation and best practice.

Minimum (essential) Requirements

  • Experience working in a Compensation & Benefits, Reward or HR Analytics role in a fast‑paced global business.
  • Experience in some or all of the following: Total Reward Frameworks, Employee Benefits, Job Sizing, Gender Pay and qualitative pay reporting, Benchmarking, Performance‑Related Reward.
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills with an ability to communicate and present effectively to stakeholders and groups of different levels of seniority.
  • A proactive team player with strong customer service and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience of supporting the delivery of a reward agenda in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Commercial acumen and knowledge of remuneration trends and changes that impact people and the working culture.
  • Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite of software.

Desirable

  • Experience in use of Workday to manage Reward processes.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of global remuneration as relevant to some of the following jurisdictions: USA, Canada, Poland, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, France, Finland, India, Australia.
  • Experience working with global benefits procurement, brokers and external providers.
