What you will be doing: In this role, you will undertake Test and Commissioning activities to validate the installation and alignment of Strategic Weapon Systems, ensuring all work is carried out safely, compliantly, and in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and legislation. You'll work closely with stakeholders across BAE Systems, government representatives, and external contractors to deliver key programme objectives. Core duties:
- Carry out routine Test and Commissioning activities with limited supervision whilst understanding and managing safety implications within a high-risk environment
- Liaise and interface with relevant stakeholders to ensure activities are undertaken safely, compliantly, and in accordance with programme requirements
- Interpret and understand test documentation, develop and execute measurement plans, and accurately analyse and present test results to the Strategic Weapons Test Group (SWTG)
- Maintain full and accurate records of work activities carried out in line with Company policy, procedures, and legislative requirements
- Represent BAE Systems during Contractors Sea Trials and support other outworking requirements as required
