Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.
This role sits within our growing Wise Business Sales & Marketing function. We’re looking for a Business Partnerships Senior Account Manager to join our Business Partnerships team in London. This role owns the end-to-end account management of our partners after they’ve signed — ensuring partners are successfully onboarded, fully enabled, performing strongly, and that the end customer journey (referrals into Wise) is smooth and measurable.
Team structure
- Partnership Sales (finding and closing new partners)
- Account Management (owning partner success)
- Wise Business Customer Sales / Service (activating and supporting the businesses referred via partners)
Owning area 2 and 3, you’ll work closely with our Partnerships Sales Senior Manager (who closes new deals), our Partnership Account Management Specialist (who will partner with you on day-to-day delivery). Together you’ll ensure partners are set up with the right materials, commercials, reporting, and operational processes to scale. You'll be the primary contact and integrate yourself into the partner’s teams to help them share Wise Business with their clients.
This is an ideal role for someone who is highly organised, data-driven, commercially sharp, and confident managing large / complex accounts. Ideally someone who has built commercial frameworks, dealt with difficult partner conversations and integrated a product into a 3rd party flow.
The role
- Own Business Partnerships/Affiliates partners end-to-end after contract signing—onboarding, enablement, performance management, issue resolution, and renewals/expansion.
- Run partner onboarding, training, materials, messaging, and referral routes to drive successful Wise Business referrals.
- Manage partner cadence (monthly check-ins, QBRs, launch plans) and act as senior escalation point.
- Build and own scalable partner ops: workflows, documentation, reporting, and clean handovers across Sales/AM/CS.
- Ensure commercials/tracking/governance are correct (commission logic, payouts, eligibility), prevent leakage/disputes, and keep partners updated.
- Drive growth with existing partners through experiments, co-marketing, placements, and performance improvements.
- Support scaled/technical partners and collaborate with Product/Integrations on repeatable partnership models and offers.
- Monitor and analyse performance; build partner health views, prioritisation, and forecasts; escalate or renegotiate when needed.
- Ensure compliance and referrals aligned with Wise risk appetite/AUP.
Qualifications
- Strong B2B account/partner management experience (fintech/payments helpful).
- Organised, process-minded, commercially sharp, data-driven, and confident managing stakeholders and escalations.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally (Sales, CS, Marketing, Product/Integrations).
Nice To Have
- Partnerships/affiliates ops, technical integrations, people leadership, languages.
