The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

To work in a support capacity with a nominated group of district managers (ASM team) and assist the sales manager with management, performance and development of the team in line with agreed sales strategy and overall business plan. This role sits in addition to the standard accountabilities of the district manager position.

Responsibilities / Key Objectives / Key Duties

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive plan for team sales activity including pipeline and productivity.
  • Manage both personal and team quota.
  • Support the management of all active sales processes within the team, coordinating company resources in an optimal and effective manner.
  • Fulfill the standard accountabilities of the district manager Major Accounts in addition to the above objectives.
  • Monitor team performance daily, coordinate resources, monitor activity, and initiate corrective action with the regional sales manager to ensure sustainable delivery of results.
  • Generate new business.
  • Carry personal quota plus part of the team target.
  • Manage sales opportunities through direct reports.
  • Liaise closely with the sales manager, other team sales managers, DVPs and colleagues within the Barcelona Inside Sales group to pursue a consistent approach to sales/product/commercial strategy.
  • Submit relevant management reports in a timely manner, including up-to-date forecasting information.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Work under own initiative for day-to-day workload in line with overall strategy and guidelines.
  • Work through direct reports for specific requirements.
  • Direction of the team with regard to training, motivation, and development.
  • Member of the sales management team.

Skills And Knowledge

  • Ability to anticipate, identify and analyse problems and opportunities, establish priorities and efficiently allocate and utilise resources.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial/sales issues, preferably within a Payroll/HR software and service environment.
  • Ability to review and measure progress against specific criteria and take corrective action where appropriate.
  • Excellent communication skills, personal integrity and a positive attitude in dealings with colleagues and clients.

Education And Experience

  • Extensive direct selling experience, preferably within a Payroll/HR software and service environment with consistent over-performance.
  • Team Leader/Sales Management experience (desirable).
