Role Description: You will join a project team of talented engineers and technologists, who will coach and support you to gain the necessary skills. You will work closely with our customers to find solutions to their most complex problems. You will also have the opportunity to work on all stages of a product lifecycle, from concept and design through to build and support. Within the Wireless Products team there are a variety of roles while you may specialise in one or more, you will be encouraged to develop a broad set of skills and understanding. Opportunities include:

  • Designing high performance electronics (digital/RF/analogue) for our products
  • Manufacturing devices designed to operate in extreme environments
  • Creating software applications and GUIs (typically using C, C++, Java, Javascript or React)
  • Developing software and/or firmware for a range of target devices including FPGAs, ARM processors, GPUs and microcontrollers (typically using VHDL or Verilog)
  • Designing signal processing algorithms
  • Mathematical modelling

Essential Requirements: Our team needs people with excellent problem solving skills, enthusiasts for technology, there are openings available for Junior Engineers, through to Mid and Senior Engineers with some experience and interest in one or more of the focus areas below:

  • RF and analogue PCB circuit design and layout from VLF to microwave, including amplifiers, filters, mixers, etc.
  • High speed digital PCB circuit design and layout, including FPGAs, SoCs, ADC & DACs.
  • System and circuit modelling (eg using SPICE, Matlab, CST, Python).
