As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, within Cloud Foundational Services Marketplace (Infrastructure Platforms), you are an essential part of a curious and inspiring agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a Lead Software Engineer you are in the middle of the most complex problem areas driving out solutions with the team. Job Responsibilities Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Experienced technologist with deep expertise in building reliable, scalable, and stable enterprise applications using cloud based technologies Experience in mentoring/coaching software engineers Desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly Strong hands-on development skills to prototype technical solutions Degree or equivalent academic qualifications in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills AWS and Terraform Certified Proficient in designing and provisioning applications on AWS Services, Terraform and Sentinel Own Technology Debt/Tech Modernization - ability to balance the long-term \"big picture\" and short-term implications of design decisions Demonstrated end-to-end ownership for development and design of least one public cloud project ABOUT US J.P.
