We are looking for talented and motivated System Engineers (at all levels) to join our growing Land Cyber and Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA) business.
At Leonardo, you'll contribute to the development of innovative, cutting-edge capabilities for UK and export customers while benefiting from flexible working arrangements that support a healthy balance between business requirements and individual needs.
Your impact This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of defence technology, contributing directly to advanced solutions that enhance operational effectiveness in complex and contested electromagnetic environments.
As part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will play a key role in defining, developing and delivering next-generation defence systems.
Working closely with customers, partners and stakeholders, you will apply your expertise across the full system lifecycle, from requirements definition and solution development through to integration, verification and in-service support.
You will contribute directly to some of the UK's most advanced land-based defence capabilities, including Land Electronic Warfare, Counter-Uncrewed Aerial Systems (C-UAS) and next-generation Counter Radio Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RC-IED) equipment and solutions.
These systems enable military users to exploit the electromagnetic spectrum, to generate operational advantage on the modern battlefield whilst also protecting friendly forces.
What you'll bring; Proven experience as a Systems Engineer within a working environment or advanced academic research experience.
Ideally, you will have a science-based Honours degree or equivalent experience.
