Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our National Security and Defence (NS experience at values above £15m would be particularly relevant. Strong knowledge of UK Government business development, procurement routes, contract awards and customer buying behaviours. Experience of working with frameworks and developing follow-on opportunities. Experience of creating compelling bids collaboratively with internal teams, customers and partners. Clear and adaptable communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills. The ability to prioritise and maintain progress across several concurrent pursuits in a changing environment. An inclusive and collaborative approach to leading, motivating and supporting multidisciplinary teams. It would be beneficial if you also bring: Experience in a Business Development, Account Management or Capture role within the Home Office, National Security sector or a similarly complex government environment. Knowledge of PPPT and HSG. Knowledge of Immigration and Borders. An understanding of IT service management, networks, artificial intelligence and cyber technologies. Experience of developing partnerships or consortium arrangements to pursue opportunities. Experience of developing use cases for digital-transformation concept demonstrators.
