Enterprise Risk Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Enterprise Risk Analyst to join our Enterprise Risk team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise and operational risk management practices within a dynamic and regulated environment.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you will help identify, assess, monitor, and report on risks, while supporting governance activities and driving a strong risk-aware culture. This role is ideal for a risk professional looking to broaden their exposure across enterprise risk, operational risk, controls, governance, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Assist in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting enterprise and operational risks.
Maintain risk registers, action plans, risk documentation, and governance records.
Produce high-quality risk reports, management information, and analysis for senior leadership and governance committees.
Support risk workshops, risk assessments, and control reviews across the business.
Coordinate risk governance activities, including meeting preparation, minutes, action tracking, and stakeholder engagement.
Monitor emerging risks and support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
Contribute to the development of risk policies, standards, methodologies, and procedures.
Support assurance activities and collaborate with Compliance, Security, Audit, and Operational teams.
Promote a positive risk culture by providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization.
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience within Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, Risk Management, Governance, Compliance, or Internal Controls.
Understanding of risk management frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
Experience preparing risk reports, dashboards, and governance documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience working in a regulated environment is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable
Experience within Financial Services, Insurance, Technology, or other regulated sectors.
Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management principles, operational risk frameworks, and governance processes.
Familiarity with FCA-regulated environments.
Understanding of risk appetite, controls, key risk indicators (KRIs), and risk reporting.
Professional qualifications or progress towards certifications in Risk Management, Audit, Compliance, or Governance.
The role requires Security Clearance or ability to get SC in short timescales.
