Product Design Lead in London

Join our team as a Product Design Lead where you will be part of our client and colleague experience Tribe, collaborating with Product Directors, Engineers and other designers to develop exceptional solutions to some of the most challenging problems in our Private Bank space. This role will sit primarily in a new initiative as we build out our digital capability across our organisation. You will partner closely with a small team of engineers, product and other technology functions in a fast-paced highly collaborative agile environment.

To be successful as a Product Design Lead, you should have the following essential skills:

• Ample experience in mobile app design
• Validated ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, research, and product teams
• Experience leading or contributing to 0-to-1 product development, from concept through launch

Purpose of the role

To create user-centred and visually appealing designs for digital banking products by conducting user research, designing user interfaces and experiences, collaborating with stakeholders, and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities

• Execution of user research and usability tests to understand customer needs, pain points, and integrate feedback and preferences to banking products and services, through collaboration with various stakeholders, including product managers and developers.
• Creation of intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for digital banking platforms and applications for a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Design and maintenance of visually appealing and consistent user interfaces that align with the bank's brand identity and design guidelines across digital products.
• Creation of wireframes and interactive prototypes for visualisation and testing of product concepts and features before development.
• Accessibility considerations to ensure that designs comply with accessibility standards and guidelines to provide an inclusive experience for all users.
• Monitoring of industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the design quality and innovation of banking products.
