Job Profile description

Main purpose of the role & responsibilities in the business:

Our vision is to create a world-class business development and marketing capability for Kainos, fuelled by a diverse range of highly talented and motivated professionals working collaboratively and innovatively to ensure we continue our growth trajectory. We do this via an open and supportive environment where colleagues can share information, learn from one another, and excel in their own career.

What You'll Do

As a Content Developer in the Content team, you will play a central role in shaping how Kainos' SaaS products are presented to customers and prospects. You'll be responsible for creating visually engaging, sales-focused content that showcases the business value of our Workday-focused product suite - including Kainos Smart (Smart Test, Smart Audit, Smart Shield) and Employee Document Management (EDM). You'll own the end-to-end creation of impactful materials - from crafting clear, persuasive messaging to designing polished, on-brand visuals that bring our value propositions to life.

Your work will directly support our sales and product teams by equipping them with the high-quality content they need to win and grow customer relationships. The content will cover both thought-leadership content (top of funnel) through the customer journey and also product content. The content developed will flex through the fiscal year based on company and GTM priorities.

This role is ideal for a creative professional who excels at both storytelling and design - someone who can simplify complex technical ideas and present them compellingly via visual design and strong narratives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and design compelling content collateral including blog content, web content, product/feature/message one-pagers, sales content and customer presentations.
  • Target audiences will include both business leaders, functional leaders and practitioners within our customers and partners.
  • Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy that communicates product value and differentiators for business audiences.
  • Design visually engaging content using tools such as PowerPoint, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Develop up-to-date sales materials that reflect current thinking and product capabilities and messaging, and monitor changes to the content as market/competitor/Kainos trends emerge.
  • Ensure all written and visual content is consistent with Kainos' brand, tone, and visual identity.
  • Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to understand positioning, messaging priorities, and target audiences.
  • Continuously refine and improve content to maximise impact and usability.
  • Manage multiple content projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.

Cross-functional collaboration & stakeholder management

  • Work cross-functionally with GTM Activation, Product Marketing, Events, Partners, Campaign Operations, and Sales teams to align social activity to business priorities and GTM objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the team on content best practices, storytelling and narrative builds.
  • Leverage and recommend AI tools to drive impact in core areas of content development, sharing and insights.

Minimum (essential) requirements:

  • Proven experience creating and designing sales-focused content (e.g. one-pagers, product overviews, decks, or customer presentations).
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into engaging, customer-friendly language.
  • Advanced proficiency in presentation and design tools (PowerPoint, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent visual design sense, including layout, typography, and composition.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across multiple assets.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.

Desirable:

  • Experience within the Workday ecosystem or enterprise SaaS environment.
  • Experience supporting social activation for integrated GTM campaigns, strategic events, webinars, or product launches.
  • AI expertise in developing content, including LLM tools and agentic platforms.
  • Experience working alongside content, brand, and creative teams to develop content strategies and identify best practices for 1st/3rd party content development.
