Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year
Requirements:
- Experience leading teams and expanding products through ongoing growth
- Strong product mindset and passion for user experience, with a focus on customer needs and data-driven decisions
- Great communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to lead and inspire engineers to build the right things in the right way
- Ability to deliver work across multiple teams and coordinate efforts across the organisation
- Ability to break down complex projects into incremental milestones that deliver customer value
- Experience developing web applications and distributed systems in a production environment
- Experience with common design and architectural patterns, clean code, performance, and strong testing practices
- Curiosity and drive for continuous learning and improvement
- Experience following and advocating best coding practices, continuous delivery, and code reviews
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, query optimisation, and schema design is a plus
- Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot and experience with a messaging system such as Kafka is a plus
- Ability to participate in the on-call rotation for critical services, normally every 6-10 weeks

- Build out the receive-to-alias experience and platform
- Build the roadmap for the next two quarters together with Product Management
- Join the 24/7 on-call rotation for critical services
- Help the team improve on-call processes and service reliability
