Our Radar and Advanced Targeting (RATs) Design Integrity function are seeking a Configuration Engineer to join their Configuration team. Our Configuration specialists play an integral role in insuring that configuration is embedded into the engineering life cycles of all our products ensuring that all products meet the relevant governance, regulations and legislation. As a Configuration Engineer, you will learn and develop Configuration skills and knowledge for use in the full product lifecycle: from requirements analysis; Please note that this role in working on a hybrid basis from our Edinburgh site. Working closely with supportive, talented and innovative engineers from a range of disciplines, providing them with Configuration Management support and advising them on Configuration best practice. You will be trained to operate in the Configuration Engineer role which will include both Documentation and Hardware. Preparing agenda, calling and chairing the CRB (Configuration Review Boards). Arranging the Point of Embodiment (POE) changes for implementation and deciding the Change Classification based on a set criteria. Implement, Planning and Co-ordination into both the design and physical products. Ideally experience in a Configuration Engineering.
