Requirements:

  • Fluency in core languages such as Python, SQL, TypeScript and/or REACT, with the ability to pick up others quickly
  • Understanding of data engineering principles, ETL pipelines, and application development
  • Familiarity with Palantir Foundry, Gotham, or similar is preferred, but not mandatory if we see a strong willingness to learn
  • High emotional intelligence, curiosity, and the ability to manage client expectations in nuanced environments
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the humility to ask for and accept help when needed
  • The ability to present demos, simplify complexity for non-technical users, and communicate impact clearly
  • Flexibility and mobility to spend time onsite with our clients and partners as required

Responsibilities:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of client problems, from deep data engineering to building user-facing front-end applications and widgets
  • Work with low/no-code Palantir Foundry tooling, or with Python and PySpark code repos, depending on the solution needed
  • Sit directly alongside our clients, understand their goals and requirements, and translate complex technical language into stakeholder-appropriate communication
  • Embed AI workflows into existing applications using tools such as AIP Logic Functions, AIP Analysts, and AIFDE
  • Contribute to Decho Labs by building internal products and feeding deployment learnings back into the business
  • Self-assign tasking, participate in our show-and-tell culture, and support peers through teach-backs, tech reviews, and internal channels
  • Design solutions that unify complex data landscapes and build workflows that drive smarter decisions
  • Iterate quickly, build fast, show work to clients, and refine solutions based on real-time feedback
