AWS Cloud Architect in Bristol

Salary: £95,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements

• We require proven expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), with relevant AWS certifications ideally at Professional level.
• We require experience building and designing cloud platforms, incorporating cloud provider best practices.
• We require knowledge of containerisation, orchestration with Kubernetes, and serverless architectures.
• We require experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• We require experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and Jenkins.
• We require experience leading or managing people onsite with clients while working collaboratively within engineering teams.
• We require strong documentation and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
• We require flexibility, responsiveness, and the ability to balance competing priorities.
• We value a growth mindset, curiosity, and a process-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• We act as a hands‑on cloud expert across our Cloud Engineering business unit portfolio of clients.
• We design cloud platforms and either implement them independently or as part of a larger team.
• We use our technical expertise to influence project direction.
• We support pre‑sales engagements.
• We help drive our partner status competencies with major cloud providers.
• We create content for marketing, sales, clients, and our wider business.
• We give and receive feedback constructively.
• We work collaboratively with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
