Skills and Competencies

  • Proven experience in business-to-business sales within financial services, with a focus on insurance and reinsurance clients preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the insurance and reinsurance industry, including regulatory requirements, risk management, finance, actuarial, and investment functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex sales cycles to successful conclusion through consultative and solution-oriented selling techniques.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to deliver both high-level product overviews and detailed solution demonstrations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify client needs, uncover new business opportunities, and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams while managing multiple priorities with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges.
  • Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth by leading complex sales opportunities and delivering strategic solutions to insurance and reinsurance clients.
  • Build and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed annual revenue goals and business objectives within assigned insurance and reinsurance territories.
  • Partner with sales colleagues and internal stakeholders to identify and qualify prospects, initiate new sales opportunities, and manage the sales cycle through to successful closure.
  • Develop new business opportunities within assigned territories and collaborate with Solution Specialists to create tailored proposals and deliver targeted client demonstrations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders across risk management, finance, actuarial, and investment functions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by assessing business needs, providing strategic guidance, and recommending solutions that address client challenges and objectives.
  • Expand Moody's presence across the broader insurance ecosystem by engaging with consultants, regulators, industry associations, and other market participants.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Product Strategy teams to provide market feedback, enhance solution offerings, and support the development of new revenue opportunities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting, represent the company at industry events, support knowledge sharing across the team, and travel as needed for client engagement activities.
