hackajob is collaborating with Comcast to recruit a junior Legal Counsel for a 12-month maternity cover. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of employment law-related matters for Comcast’s dynamic international businesses, including Comcast Technology Solutions, FreeWheel, and Comcast Business. The role involves reviewing and negotiating legal agreements, providing legal guidance to HR, and assisting the International Legal Team on employment and compliance projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel international businesses on employment law matters, including terminations, working time regulations, health and safety compliance, and works council/labour issues.
- Advise on day-to-day UK employment law and support other jurisdictions.
- Draft, review, update, and negotiate employment agreement templates, employee handbooks, and other policies.
- Evaluate the employment law landscape in new jurisdictions for potential expansion and assist with post-M&A integration.
