The Crew is Mother’s grassroots, entry level talent scheme, providing an alternative route into the industry for anyone with an interest in advertising, regardless of experience. As part of our Crew you’ll essentially run and manage our office space, ensuring that every person who comes through our doors enjoys a first class experience. It’s an extremely hands‑on role, requiring energy, passion, organisation and resilience to juggle a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment. Throughout the 15‑month placement you’ll build foundational skills key to any job within advertising: collaboration, communication, time management, and gain exposure to client work and creative processes. After completing the programme you’ll be given the opportunity to do a 6‑month placement in the department of your choice.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily building checks, ensuring meeting rooms and breakout spaces look presentable
  • Client meeting set‑ups (catering and refreshments)
  • Courier bookings / incoming post
  • Office facilities support
  • Providing support at all Mother DAM events
  • Stock checking office and kitchen supplies
  • Sourcing and researching production props
  • Daily ad‑hoc purchases for staff and clients
  • Research and ad‑hoc support on pitches
  • Fulfilling all partner requests
  • Managing the email inbox

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:

  • A positive and helpful attitude
  • Excellent time‑keeping, organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks and handle a busy schedule
  • Clear communication, ability to pick up new information and build good relationships
  • Curiosity – interest in people, culture and creativity
  • Able to think on your feet, adapt to change, multitask, and knowledge of PC and/or Mac and Microsoft and Google suites
  • Desire and motivation to learn and develop; relish constructive feedback

Logistics:

Hours – you’ll be required to work 5 days in the office, every week. The team work on a rota which changes weekly (shifts: 8am to 5pm / 8:30am to 5:30pm / 9am to 6pm / 10am to 7pm).

Required Background:

No previous experience needed; a positive can‑do attitude, lack of ego and willingness to get your hands dirty.
