Salary: £31,000 per annum FTE

Hours: Part-time, 3 days a week plus 16 additional days to cover productions & events

Scene & Heard is seeking an organised, proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team. This part-time role is at the heart of our creative and administrative operations. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production weeks, supporting creative planning and delivery, and providing administrative support to the Artistic Director and the wider team. They will help manage productions, support volunteers, maintain systems, and contribute to the ongoing success of our acclaimed playwriting programmes for children. The Production Administrator & Assistant to the Artistic Director reports to the CEO & Artistic Director and collaborates closely with all members of the staff team.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinating all logistics and administration for courses and productions
  • Managing communications and documentation for volunteers and creative teams
  • Acting as Production Manager during show weeks and supporting technical teams
  • Assisting the Artistic Director with administrative and scheduling duties
  • Maintaining systems including Salesforce CRM and managing merchandise stock and sales
  • Helping to ensure a welcoming, well-run studio environment at S&H HQ
