We're looking for a Distribution / Export Co-ordinator to join our team, supporting the Distribution & Logistics Manager across a range of operational activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role, enjoys problem‐solving, and wants to develop their career in logistics and supply chain management.
About the role:
The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following duties:
- Focusing on our Australian, Maltese and South African markets, you will:
- Ensure a smooth flow of stock to and from the UK
- Work with 3PL companies across the world to deliver our magazines to the customer in the most efficient and cost effective manner (retail and subscription)
- Accurately forecast future needs for our titles via data analysis
- Maintain accurate stock management processes
- Update and maintain internal Excel databases, ensuring information is accurate, and accessible
- Provide day‐to‐day administrative support to the logistics and production teams – including Brexit clearance, shipping invoices, commercial invoices
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners
- Reasonable ad hoc tasks as required
What we're looking for:
- Up to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain / Logistics and a solid understanding of shipping and logistics
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and strong data analysis skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships effectively
- Ability to prioritise tasks and stay organised in a fast-paced environment
