What you'll be doing:

  • Driving sales growth across Secondary Schools and Further Education colleges, promoting a market-leading portfolio of curriculum resources, digital platforms, assessment tools, and professional development services.
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with key education decision-makers including Headteachers, Senior Leaders, Heads of Department and MAT stakeholders.
  • Managing and growing a defined territory, identifying new opportunities while developing high-value accounts and partnerships.
  • Delivering engaging product demonstrations and training sessions, both in person and online, showcasing how solutions improve student outcomes and reduce teacher workload.
  • Supporting schools to implement and maximise the value of digital and assessment products, becoming a trusted adviser to your customers.
  • Representing the business at regional and national education events, conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Using CRM systems to manage your pipeline, track performance, and provide accurate sales forecasting and insights.
  • Collaborating with internal teams such as marketing and product to share market feedback and enhance the customer experience.

Who we are looking for:

  • A highly motivated, relationship-driven sales professional with a passion for education and making an impact in schools.
  • Proven experience in sales, education, publishing, EdTech, or a related field, with strong commercial awareness.
  • Confident communicator and presenter, able to engage individuals and large groups both face-to-face and virtually.
  • Strong understanding of the Secondary and/or Further Education landscape, including curriculum and assessment needs, is desirable.
  • Highly organised with excellent territory planning and account management skills.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools to manage performance and customer engagement.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with the drive to meet and exceed targets.

Location requirements:

  • Based within the North East or North West of England territory.
  • Ideally within a commutable distance of Liverpool, Leeds, or Newcastle, with regular travel across your region.

This role is field based at home with regular local and national travel. The role attracts a company car and is eligible for inclusion in our annual sales bonus scheme.
