What you\’ll be doing

This role involves managing book projects from concept to finished product, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget. Responsibilities include:

  • Project managing around 12 titles per year
  • Managing freelance picture researchers, copy-editors, and proofreaders
  • Making corrections in InDesign
  • Checking proofs and plotters
  • Managing budgets
  • Working with authors to ensure a consistent vision
  • Reviewing manuscripts
  • Preparing illustration briefs
  • Checking artworks
  • Organizing and attending photo shoots
