The role involves managing and renewing a high-volume portfolio of service contracts within the UK & Ireland territory. This role drives on-time renewal performance, ensures contract accuracy, and identifies contract expansion opportunities when customers add new equipment. It sits within the Commercial Service organisation and balances structured administrative work with customer interaction in a B2B environment. Success depends on organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complexity and volume while collaborating across multiple internal teams. This position is located in Manchester (Salford Quays), UK and is offered on a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively managing the renewal of a large portfolio of service contracts, ensuring quotations are issued in line with standard work (typically 60–90 days before contract expiry).
- Maintaining regular customer touchpoints via email and phone to drive high levels of on-time contract renewal.
- Identifying contract expansion opportunities by adding newly installed equipment to existing service agreements.
- Reviewing commercial terms and contract details in line with Hach policies, escalating exceptions for approval when required.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Field Sales, Service Planning, Service Administration and European Service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Accurately maintaining customer data, contracts and renewal activity in Salesforce / ServiceMax, ensuring high standards of data integrity.
- Tracking performance against key metrics, particularly on-time renewal rates, and using dashboards and reports to prioritise workload.
- Occasionally accompanying Field Sales or Service Engineers on customer site visits to build product and service understanding.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a B2B customer service, sales administration, or contract administration role.
- Previous experience with service contracts, renewals, or aftermarket/service organisations.
- Proven experience managing high-volume, recurring administrative workloads with strong attention to detail and adherence to defined processes.
- Demonstrated experience working with CRM or case-management systems (e.g. Salesforce, ServiceMax or similar).
