We are now looking for a Director of Fundraising and Partnerships to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Director of Fundraising & Partnerships, you will lead our fundraising, partnerships and engagement strategy, driving sustainable income growth and building influential relationships. Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will design and deliver ambitious multi-year fundraising and partnership strategies across trusts and foundations, corporates, philanthropy and other non-institutional income streams. You will inspire and develop a high-performing team alongside overseeing income performance, forecasting and reporting.

Additionally, you will:

  • Develop communication and engagement strategies to increase profile and supporter commitment
  • Drive income growth, diversification and partnership pipeline management
  • Lead strategic relationships with corporate partners, donors and funders
  • Support the development of compelling funding proposals and reports
  • Contribute to organisational strategy, governance and transformation activity
  • Represent us at meetings, events and sector forums nationally and internationally

Who We're Looking For

To join us as our Director of Fundraising and Partnerships, you will need:

  • Substantial senior-level experience in fundraising, development and partnership leadership
  • A proven track record of designing and delivering ambitious income strategies
  • Significant experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Experience and awareness of communication and brand marketing in a relevant context
  • Experience working collaboratively within complex or networked organisational structures
  • Experience working closely with Boards and Trustees
  • Experience of organisational growth, change or transformation
  • Expert knowledge of fundraising best practice, partnership development and donor stewardship
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget ownership, income forecasting and performance management
  • Knowledge of UK charity governance, fundraising regulation and compliance
