About the role

Are you passionate about supporting ambitious young people to achieve places at the UK's most prestigious universities? We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and inspiring Academic Tutor and UCAS/Oxbridge Coach to join our Sixth Form team and lead our Oxbridge Access Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to work with high‑achieving students across Years 11-13, providing expert guidance throughout every stage of the Oxford and Cambridge admissions process, from personal statements and entrance assessments to interview preparation and application support.

Alongside leading our Oxbridge programme, you will play a key role in delivering academic enrichment, mentoring students, coordinating the EPQ programme, supporting UCAS applications, and providing targeted academic tutoring. You will inspire students to develop the confidence, resilience and academic curiosity needed to fulfil their potential while helping to widen access to higher education. This role is ideal for someone with outstanding communication skills, a passion for academic excellence, and the ability to motivate and support students in achieving exceptional outcomes.

Reporting

This role reports to the Assistant Principal and Head of KS5.
