We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive school community. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils' learning and development within both EY/KS1 and KS2. Working closely with the class teacher, the successful candidate will support the delivery of an engaging and well-rounded curriculum. This may involve working with the whole class, small groups, or on a one-to-one basis, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. In addition, you will contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities. As part of a collaborative team, you will support pupils' wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development, helping them to build confidence, independence, and essential life skills. A high level of professionalism is expected at all times, alongside a clear understanding of the importance of discretion and confidentiality when working with pupils and families.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils' learning and development within EY/KS1 and KS2, including whole-class, small-group, and one-to-one support as needed.
- Assist with the delivery of an engaging and well-rounded curriculum in collaboration with the class teacher.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities.

Qualifications and Skills
- Experience supporting children within both EY/KS1 and KS2.
- Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Level 3 NVQ in Childcare and Education or Early Years Care and Education (or equivalent).
- Strong ability to support learning across EY/KS1 and KS2.
- A caring and proactive approach to pastoral support.
- Good digital literacy.
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive team player with a collaborative approach.
