We are looking to appoint an ambitious Phase Leader who is passionate about improving the outcomes for children to join the team at Slade Green Primary. This is an opportunity to become a part of a forward-thinking team where you can develop your skills as a valued member of our teaching staff. You will lead a curriculum area and a phase of the school, supporting and developing a team and play a key role in the distributed leadership and management of our school. You will promote an inclusive culture through Slade Green Primary enabling all children to achieve their best, overcoming barriers to learning and participation.
About the role
- To lead planning, teaching and learning and assessment within the phase/key stage ensuring the highest standards of education for all of the children.
- To lead a curriculum area within the school, delivering a clear vision for the curriculum area and managing the team effectively.
- To undertake duties described in the Job Description for Class Teacher.
- To actively participate in whole school self-review and development and school improvement planning.
- To contribute to the vision and ethos of the school.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: You are required to fulfil the professional role of a Class Teacher which is specified in the latest version of the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.
